‘Lawnmowers of the Rich & Famous’.
The machine will be restored and placed in our brand new exhibition
section within the new wing. MUSEUM WINS
AWARD The Museum
has also received a National Award from the British Agricultural and Garden
Machinery Association. MUSEUM ON
1,200 AMERICAN RADIO STATION The number
of people visiting the Museum has doubled compared to last year, and in fact our
overseas visitors has trebled in number (especially from USA, Europe &
Japan). Due no doubt to our
appearance on 1,200 American Radio stations, French National Magazines, Many
in-flight Airline magazines, and even reaching Australia and New Zealand Radio
and Newspapers, to mention but a few. WORLD WIDE
ATTRACTION We are now
able, via the Internet, to offer a World wide Parts & Information Archive
service. We have also been involved
in a world-wide competition in conjunction with the Discovery Channel, on one
day 6,000 people world wide visited our web site. WORLD RECORD
ATTEMPT DISASTER The world
record attempt of the world’s fastest lawnmower came to a crashing halt.
The machine became unstable and crashed completely destroying the lawnmower.
The development team has to start again.
