The SP42 is a great self-propelled, petrol-driven mower. Powered by the dependable STIGA ST120 Auto choke engine and the 41cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working, dependable and easy to use mower.
This mower is robust with a steel chassis and is simple to operate. It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – there are six different positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting – and clippings are collected into a capacious 60-litre canvas grass catcher.
To save time and to add nutrients to your lawn, simply fit the mulching plug (supplied with the mower) and as you mow, clippings are finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface.
